Well it was A great day on the water!I and Fred (papasmurf)was invited to fish with Steve out of cape may on the"GET SOME" A 27 Albemarle and we realy got some!We left out of Snug Harbor marina at 6:00am and approching the end of CM inlet we where greeted by FOG. Steve navigated us through the fog effortlessly to Reef site 11.After A few hours of like 100ft visibility the fog burned off and we where surrounded by boats!
We continued to pick away at shorts and an occasional keeper for the box.Our final tally for the day was 17 keeper fluke and at least 80 throwbacks. And about 5 throwback seabass along with one keeper
Fish that where kept ranged up to about 24".The quality of the fish was ok but man did we pound them good.It was A steady pick with some flurrys of doubles and triples. We broke CM inlet just as the sun was setting and I was on the tower to watch it.Words can not describe how beautiful it was and I wished that I had my camera to take A couple shots of it but it was A most magnificent site!
Thank you Steve for the Great day and Great time! I owe you one!
