i dont believe you need a license..flounder will still be pretty good. try the thoroughfare, east channel, behind assateague near the airport. you will be able to find them![]()

You do Not need a fishing license to fish around OC. You only need a license to fish fresh water and in the Chesapeake Bay.
You should be able to find some flonder and crockers through out the area.
Good Luck,

Thanks for the info I not big on inshore fishing I fish offshore 99% of the time so this will be a challenge for me !!!![]()
I hate to say this but if you decide to fish the bay look for one of the head boats they are usually where the fish are. If you have never fished the back bay be careful there are lots of sand bars to get stuck on! Good luck and if you happen to see me out there on the "2 FAR OUT!" come on over and I will help if I can. My buddy caught 25 flounder yesterday and not one keeper in the bunch!! 18 inchers are hard to come by. If the weather is nice you may want to venture out to Russels Reef, it's only 4 miles from the inlet. Little Gull is only only 2 miles and there are usualy a few fish there. The bass grounds may be another option, it's about 8 miles off the beach and on a 19 footer its not a bad ride on a good day.
