Fishing out of Cape Fear 4/25
Left the dock at around 5:00 to be greeted by some pretty bumpy seas..beat out there at around 21 knots. It took us about 3 hours to get out. Started out at the steeples and the water temp had dropped 2 degrees from the day before so we moved off to about 800 ft of water and got our first dolphin. Then we moved to the north and found some 72 degree water and then it was on we caught four wahoo in the 30 lb pound range and lost probably four or five more. Good day on the water and I forgot to mention it did layout as the day progressed, rode home at 38 knots. There were a crowd of boats out today hope everyone had a safe and productive day as well.
