Fishing Mexico video

I've finally finished editing the footage from December's trip to the Puerto Vallarta area of Mexico. I have to thank Admin for the help getting this posted today- he worked his butt off compressing and decompressing and control alt deleting (or whatever it is that smart computer people do).

It's about 15 minutes long and has two songs (one at the beginning and one at the end), and has a bunch of raw fishing footage in between.

Let me know how you guys like it.

great video!

Love the raw footage and activity! nice work! I am hoping to get out on a panga in costa rica this weekend (1/28 and 1/31) and hope I run into some of the same action.
What did you guys bring with you gear wise? Line weight and what kind of lures/terminal tackle?

Thanks for the compliments Mulldogg. Fishing from a panga is quite an experience, you feel so much closer to everything. We brought all spinning gear. Our heavy set ups were 50# power pro and our mediums were 30# power pro. Our leaders were 4'-6' seaguar ranging from 30# to 65#. In terms of other terminal tackle besides leader, sibikis, and hooks, we brought poppers, crystal minnows, some butterfly jigs, and bucktails. The bonita in the vid were caught on small white bucktails and metal jigs. The mahi was on a butterflied mullet, the rooster was on a live mullet, and the sail was on a live jack. Good luck in Costa Rica, and be sure to bring your camera
