I fish out of both oregon inlet and ocean city, md. So... Tuna, marlin, shark, dolphin, wahoo etc. I use 50's and tld 25s for white marlin fishing. Hope that helps. Was using tuff stuff and not that impressed so looking for new suggestions.

60# on the 50's and either 30# or 40# on the smaller reels you mentioned.

    Yes that helps.
I have sold and have had good luck in the past with the Hi Vis Tangerine and yellow from suffix. It's nice when trolling as you can see the stuff for a mile. Abrassion resistant, it is tough as nails. Not as suptle as some but not a stiff as others.

I had guys that fished 25lb on 6500 spinning reels for chunking in de bay for big stripers and they never complained about memory. They are very good bass fishermen.

Its good to put one color on the 50s and another on your 25s so just by seeing the line you can tell what lb test it is.

I do not like it for chunking applications as in the water it glows as does Momoi Blue diamond

A lot of the charter guys I dealt with out of Cape May Use and swear by Berkley Big Game clear. Very tough not fancy but a line you aint gotta worry about.

I like personally Yozuri Hybrid smoke. Its more suptle than some, its an iffused line where it has the characteristics of flouro carbon and mono.

the breaking strengths on these lines are in the high range, the averages are on there site. so i would go 30 on the 25's and 50 on the 50's if you go with that.

I hope it helps you some.

I would seriously consider filling the reels 95% with a top brand of braided line, we use powerpro, and then top shotting with an appropriate # test of mono or fluoro, no more than 100 yards. The additional line capacity, durability, minimal diameter, increased abrasion resistance and overall strength, not to mention the versatility of spectra is hard to ignore. Most, if not all, of our reels are spooled nearly to the brim with powerpro and then topped off with either fluorocarbon or mono, depending on the application.
