    Fishing gloves

Hey Guys...Looking to buy a pair of gloves for fishing. I plan on using them for leadering fish, those lengthy battles, and for rigging lures/baits on the fly. I prefer the full style rather than cut off tips. Which has better quality as well as fit...Aftco or Pelagic gloves???? Thanks...JZ

Considering you guys have a working relationship/partnership. Thats a little biased if you ask me. lol Never used their gloves. actually i think theirs are just out on the market.

To be honest, I have never found a glove that is versatile enough to be used as all three and here's my opinion.
I prefer a heavy re-enforced glove for wiring and the bulk of wiring gloves. Makes them difficult to have enough feel for rigging baits or reeling in fish. I prefer a snug, shooting glove style for the rigging/reeling application, they should be like another layer of skin. I have not used the ones you mentioned, the ones I use for rigging and reelin they sell in hardware store I think they are called mechanix glove. as far as a wiring glove we always used a hvy welders style, not the best option i just never spent the money for the wiring specific gloves. My .02 cents

Mike, I never used them for bait rigging per se, but we where blue fin chunking and cutting up 3 flats of butters, 4 or more times a week was tough on my hands so i started to wear gloves and yes I'm a wuss
