Thumbs up Fishing Corolla Outer Banks 7-26 to 8-1

I am going on vacation in NC with my extended family. Looking to jump on an open boat charter or private boat. It will be just me and I will work hard and of course pay my way. I run a Contender 25 out of Cape May and fish offshore at least 10-15 times a year. I wanted to hook up with capt Ken on Swellrider but he is too far south since I am looking for something much more local. Please call me Joe C 215-327-1776 or email joecsells@msn.com...thanks

How local are you talkin? I don't think you'll really have much success looking for anything until you come down to Nags Head/ Manteo- Maybe there's someone here with a boat north of that though...

If you want to go offshore you have the pirate cove fleet (Manteo about an hour south of Corolla) and Oregon Inlet (ten more minutes south). Both have make up charters avail.

More private boats at Pirates Cove.

Is that you Fane (Tuna teaser)?

As far as the carolina fishing, as said above, i would make the drive down its about 45 min from corolla and go to either Pirates cove or the fishing center.

Oregon Inlet and pirates cove probably have one of the best make up operations in the world. Check out their websites

I have fished with Capt. Donnie. He is the man on the inshore scene down there. Good Luck!
