Fishing the CBBT??

I plan on making the trip to the mecca of rockfishing this winter and was wondering if anyone had a spot where they put their boat in? I know about Kiptopeake, but I have also heard of the horror stories of taking an hour to put over and even longer to get out. I don't mind even paying and riding a little bit to not have the hustle and bustle. I know it's a long shot but just wondering if anyone had any incite on the matter. Any fishing tips will also be appreciated!

you can launch at cape charles . as for fishing you can jig the tunnel structure or troll north of the tunnel around plantation light .

me I like to eel the dropoffs north of the highrise . I normally fish 5 rods two off the riggers , two off the stern corners and one down the middle without any weight free swimming . goodluck if you come here to fish .
