I live in VB and go to NC as much as the weather and the wife will let me. Your more then welcome to hop on with us. We have a pretty rowdy crew but its all in good fun. I usually post in tidalfish if we need a crew member. I wish I still had spring break.

I would suggest to post this again 3-5 days before you go. Theres alot of people on here that will help or let you follow. With your boat size you're going to be limited on which days to fish. I fish out of Pirates Cove & if the weather is good, more than likely I'll be going out. You're welcomed to tag along.
Couple of questions?
Do you have your rods rigged?
Can you rig ballyhoo?
Have your tuna permit?

Do you have your rods rigged? Have (4) 6/0's with line on them and nothing else.
Can you rig ballyhoo? If you showed me how, I'm sure I can swing it. I did 3 years of Mechanical Engineering at VaTech
Have your tuna permit? Yes.

Lets get this thread going again.
I will be running out of ocracoke (same basic place as hatteras) on either wednesday thursday friday or saturday depending on which day the weather will allow. If anyone plans on being out there let me know and we can pass along what we find out while we are out there.

I'm putting the boat in the water Saturday (the 3rd) to make sure there are no bugs with the repower and I'll probably run a tank or so through, change the oil and be ready for any day after that.

That, or a more realistic/morbid outlook is that I'll have all kinds of kinks to work out and I'll run out of time and money on spring break before ever see blue water

I'll post up Saturday night which way the dice fell.
