Had to fish out all the change from the couch and sold an old gun, but finally managed to scrape up enough to book a 2-day charter on the "Black Pearl" (USVI) for the 2 days preceding the full moon in June. I am REALLY hungry to catch my first marlin and I have heard & read that the north drop is a good place to start. I'm still a newbie at this game, so I would like to know if any of you have ever fished that area during June and if you have had luck doing it. I've been told that July, August are better, but June is all I can do. Thanks!
