I'm figuring the same thing. Hopefully this cold weather will get the kings grouped up offshore here as well. I'll be bottom fishing the next week or so, leaving tommorrow, so hopefully you guys will have some good new for me when I return.
Hope the reports are true. We had more 150-200lb class bluefins stick in NJ waters, way more then usual, and they stuck through the season and some are still being caught. I know there were bigger fish as well. We also had a shot at giants out of OCMD this season a lot later then normal. It seems like a good portion of the fish never traveled as far as they typically do so there is a good chance there are fish in your neck of the woods by now. If it is true I may be looking for a boat to fish very soon, my boat gets pulled this weekend from NJ so I'll have free weekends. Go catch em up guys!!!
