Ya know I hate to be one of "those" people, but in this day and age killing a grander marlin unless its for a world record or a tourney just seems like a waste.

    Nice catch none the less.

    Damn, Terry,

Cross out the "tourney" bit and I'll make sure I come and drink beer with you next time I'm over your way.

Ain't no reason to kill elephants anymore either.

What if the fish is being sold to market? How is that different from tuna, etc.?

Don't get me started! Why cross out tourney only?

How much hyporcrisy can one stand... a world record is worth it, but a tourney is not. A sold fish is ok. A big shark is ok, a big tuna is ok. People, please. A fish is a fish. If you don't expect to ever hurt one or kill one do not put a hook in the water. Go drag teasers and take pictures. Fighting a grander to exhaustion in an area where sharks live is no different than putting a pair of backbanded flyers into him.

Congrats to the crew for landing the first grander of 2007.
