    FIRST EVER BFT

for our friends Dirk and Erica. There is nothing I enjoy more than hooking up people with their first offshore catch. Here is the happy couple with their 44" and 48" BFT. Sea conditions were less than ideal with four footers and a few six footers just to keep our attention. We released two BFT in the 42" range and one about 52". Ended the day 5 for 6 and a good time by all. PS I want thank Ed and Joe for their help in the cockpit.

NICE FISH, CAPPY. AND I SURE UNDERSTAND THAT JOY OF HELPING PEOPLE CATCH FISH. I CAN'T GO WITH 'EM ANYMORE, BUT YOU CAN'T IMAGINE THE SHIVERS AND SHAKES THAT I GET WHEN SOMEONE SENDS ME PICTS OF FISH THEY CAUGHT DOING SOMETHING THAT I HAVE TAUGHT THEM, OR USING SOMETHING THAT I HAVE MADE FOR THEM. HARD CORE YOUNG FISHERMEN THINK I'M NUTS WHEN I SAY THAT'S BETTER THAN CATCHING FISH MYSELF...AND IT SURE AS HELL IS! I AM THE LUCKIEST FISHERMAN ON THE PLANET, BECAUSE I "GET TO GO FISHING" WITH LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF FINE FOLKS AND DO HIGH FIVES WITH THEM WHEN THEY SHOW AND TELL ME WHAT THEY HAVE ACCOMPLISHED.

AND I HUMBLY THANK THE LORD FOR THAT.

AND WHILE THAT CATCH IS NEAT, THAT SUUWWEEET PONY OF YOURS IS A REAL MACHINE! JUST LOOKING AT HER, PERCHED THERE LIKE THE WARRIOR SEA EAGLE THAT I CAN SEE THAT SHE IS GETS MY BLOOD A'BOILING! WOULD THAT I COULD ONLY WHEEL HER AROUND ON A BIG BLUE ONE'S ASS JUST ONE MORE TIME!

BUBBLE, BUBBLE, BOIL, TWITCH, SHIVER, SHAKE....OH YEAH! THANKS, CAPPY!!!! I GOTTA GO LAY DOWN.

    TWITCH.

Sounds like Jack has a learning curve to get past with the new boat. Good luck with her.
We went back out the next day and went 4 for 5 with the biggest measuring 53" and the smaller one was 44". I'll try and put up the other pic later.
