First Bluefin of the Year for Incummunicado

Well - The junior world record for Mako is safe for another day. We shark fished all day and couldn't get bit except for some bluefish. We decided to troll for about an hour. Not Much except for some more bluefish and a fat albert. At the 11th hour our Electric Blue Daisy chain got Mauled by this 46.5lb bluefin. That is our first of the year. Fish hit late in the day southeast of the Jackspot inside the Marine Electric. temp 65.3. Bait everywhere. We were about 1/2 miles inside of a weedline that we were working. Video to follow.

The fat albert spit up about 30 squids - all from 4-6 inches long. The bluefin had a mackeral in its gut. We saw schools of little makeral everywhere along a weedline.

Nice catch! I'm sure a BFT is a welcome change from the bluefish. Great talking to you the other day. I sure Mr. Mako knows that Nicholas is after him!

That's an nice blue! Hope we get some bigger ones up here this year.....last year they all seemed to be 15#ers (or thereabouts)
