THERE HAS BEEN GREAT MARLIN CATCHES IN THE LAST TWO YEARS. AND THIS YEAR IS LOOKING LIKE IT WILL BE EVEN BETTER!! AND THE TUNA CATCHES ARE STARTING TO POUR IN!!!

THIS AREA HAS ALWAYS HAD A LOT OF BIG PLAYERS IN THE BIG TOURNEY'S OUT OF THE AREA IN THE PAST. SO WHY NOT BRING GREAT TOURNAMENTS TO SQUAN!!!!!!!

Would love to fish a Marlin Tourney out of Squan but the dates you have listed are the same dates as the Beach Haven Tourney and we are already fishing that one.

I think its a great idea but the dates are tough a lot of Manasquan boats and members of the squan river marlin and tuna club fish Beach Haven as well. Maybe the end of August after the Mid atlantic and the open would be better.

Appreciate the interest we are toying with the idea of changing dates... We may move it up one weekend and make it the same time frame as the Manasquan river Marlin Tuna club Bluefin tourny so you can weigh the fish in both. That right now is a very strong possibility!!!

I am moving things up one week to Captains meeting on the 21st and three fish days 22,23,24TH!! It seems this will make more sense for every interested party!!!

Everyone I need as much feedback as quickly as i can get it. So please post your level of interest and concerns as much as possible. I may also move it to the last weekend in August!!!

Too much going on in July for me to make it. The end of Aug would be much better for me.

Because there is a marlin division I believe that all dead bait whether it is with a lure or naked has to be rigged with a circle hook.
