We headed out at 5:30 and new it would be a bit bumpy but figured it would lay down in the afternoon(it did). The inlet decided to live up to it's name and anyone heading out before the tide change was treated to a "Sporty" depature. After running to the 700 line and finding the break we found a good weed line dropped in on the warm side within a minute we had three go down on gaffers. After that we worked the break north just ahead of the fleet and had a few more here and there of gaffers and got 4 Yellows and one throw back tuna under size.Whitey decided to do a little window shopping but didn't like what we were selling he was in and out quik.
Just about all manor of creature was out that day we saw turtles, pilot whales, porpoise, and a manta ray as big as a car.We even had a shark decide he wanted my fender teaser more then me.Oh and half the day was spent keepin the damn birds from stealing our baits(next time I'm bringing a shot gun)
.
Another great day get out there folks !!!!
