Final Herring Rule

Final Rule has been posted today!

DATES: Effective June 1, 2007, except for Sec. Sec. 648.200-648.203,
and Sec. Sec. 648.206-648.207, which are effective April 11, 2007.

Thats a direct link to the rule. The federal register is also good to look at as said in the previous post. That gives some more rationale to the rule outlined in the link I just put up. I have the adobe file of the FR posting, I will try and find a way to get a link directly to it so thats its easier.

But if you just want to read the rule the link I put above is all you need.

This is the first step in getting herring management back on track.
