With three days of striking out since our double header last week, we were beginning to come down from the tuna high when lady luck struck again. At around 7am I found myself rooting through the fridge for a ham biscuit when the 130 started doing its thing. We had a great crew of Reel Life and his buddies aboard and with everything cleared, Capt. Shane started backing down. The fish was pretty wimpy and only took off about 175 yards and was in the death circle within ten minutes. We all had that sinking feeling of a short until he showed himself and we knew he was a sticker. With a great Poon shot through the gill plate we got it to the boat and inserted the swimming hook, tail roped him and let him swim while we put them back out. The fish was 83 inches and cored at 259. Looks like it is going to blow for a few days, but we will be back after them Friday and everyday until it blows again. We have Sunday and Monday open for make ups so contact capt. Shane or myself for details on how you can try your hand and back at one of these gaints. Hopefully, I will get some pictures and video from the crew tommorrow to put up with the report.
