these are some new OTI jigs and line i have available
the line is marked every 25' for jigging
the jigs come with assist hook

there are also blanks and rods for jigging and popping
blanks are 5'6" to 7'6" and some come in 2pcs

i am putting sets together for ease in making choices
starter sets and set for whole trips

would be nice to find a jigging shop to teach from

i hope to get down soon. i am looking to get these in a few stores, and boats in the area, and maybe do a few "get jiggy with it" shows


the blanks and rods that go with these are SWEET also.
the 600g blank is a monster
there is a 2pc popping blank/ rod . tip is a "little" stiff, but for LARGE, LARGE striper chunking or tuna pulling.. it may work. you gotta see it

i would have 60 and 120 for you ..let me know if you can use that

The PE braid is color marked every 25' and repeats every 100ft
this line helps with the jigging process when trying to keep jig at the right depth
spools of 1200yds together,
12 seprate 100yd spools and we cut the amount you need

the line comes in 60# ($29)---and 80#($31) and 120#($35) and will break slightly higher than line rating

free S+H or a free Jig when you buy 6 spools

Hey Paul on the spools of line I see they are stacked but say 100 yards, if you buy 6 spools do you have to make six connections or does the line comed in tact from spool to spool so you have a way to spool as single line fill with no connections?

all 1200yds of line is connected on one stack,
there are no connections needed .
i can just cut 600yds (6 spools) off and you are good to go

you get 6 100yd spools all connected

Thats some neat looking stuff. I'm certainly interested in learning more. There is a Tuna tournament at Pirates Cove May 30 and 31 with registration on the 29th. You should set up a booth. You can get in touch through the Pirates Cove website. I think I was one of the first to use this technique in this area.. About ten years ago... We used 8 and 12 oz diamond jigs on our 50s w/ trolling rods ... they were hard to use but it did work... I never will forget the look on my mates face when I told him what I wanted to do The look was even better when he hooked up!

Capt Ron, that is a great way to put a few more fish in the boat.
we used our cod setups up here before we started getting the lighter rods and reels

Line looks interesting. Can you explain the price breakdown a little better? I can't figure out if it's really cheap or really expensive. For example the 60# is it $29 for 100 yard spool or 1200 yard spool? We've just started outfitting the boat with jigging stuff and have been using the daiwa colored line. Seems to work great so far. I just got an 1800 yard spool of 55# for $175 to spool up two new electric reels with 850 yards each. Trying to figure out if I can do it for $50 with this line or if it would be $500??
