    Favorite of all time...

    1. ambassedeur 5500 c (i have tried to break these reels since I could walk. I have bent the hadles, scorched the drags, and for less than a c-note who can complain? They just keep on workin...)
    2. Shimano beastmaster 50 2 speed(that sob lived up to the name on those pacific cows)

    i used to have two of them and they siezed up.. been trying to look for them on ebay.. they were stand up reels.. used to get them in bordentown nj at a small tackle shop..

    but can not find them anymore...

    There something about the milk jug size of a Tiagra 130 I can't keep my eyes off of. Maybe its all the gold, who knows. Will be buying a pair hopefully before the season starts in a few months.

    An old Penn 155 beachmaster. The absolute best damn tog reel you can use from a jetty, or bucktailing stripers from a bridge.

    TLD 25 2speed...indestructable drag....Lost 10 fish in the mid atlantic this year on penn 16s due to inconsistent drags on the lighter setting (3,5,8lbs) lost all respect for penn reels also broke 2 penn jigging rods JUST JIGGING NO FISH!!
