They are heading your way BFT
We had one yesterday 69 inches but only 146 lbs and the day before our was 62 inches and 156 lbs. No scallop guts in thier stomachs just squid sand eels and butterfish chunks. These were caught off northern Virginia so at least the smaller fish are South. I often wondered where these fish go in the winter because we have not seen many fish this small in the winter down in the Morehead City-Atlantic Beach area. Any thoughts Marty? You may recognize at least a couple of fellows in our recent picture because these were some of the same guys that fished with us and joined you at your house for a southern style fish fry after our trip.
See you soon Capt John

Hey Box We use the tail rope to drag the fish and keep bleeding it out. We're not losing them at the back of the boat. We nail with the harpoon too and gaff when needed. Also if things keep going the way they are up here you"ll have plenty of quota.
