200 kg on a Green Machine! Impressive
I'll guess 214.5
I haven't scored one over 100lbs yet on our boat. The 80 - 100lb tuna we've found have put a good hurting on someone in standup gear. I'm assuming that once you hit the 125 + range you either need a chair, or your handing off the rod a few times?
We've got a nice size gaff on board but no harpoon and no flying Gaff. Is a Gaff and tailrope enough for a giant? I've been thinking of adding a flyer for sharking. If you were going to add either a flying gaff, or harpoon, what would it be?
So the video ends before you get her to the Tuna door. Do you sedate them with something else before pulling em in?...or with a tuna club after they are on board?
In know a 90lb tuna can do a lot of banging and I've got to believe a 300lb could do some damage.
If the forecast were better I'd be out there trying to figure it out the hard way, but since it looks like we'll have some time at the computers this week, inquiring minds wanna know.
396.5 pounds
