Thumbs up Fast Forward report at the lobster claw 8/16

I ventured off to the lobster claw early this morning with Kil and Brian.left the dock about 3:00am no bait just jigging, browsed around till we started marking bait and tuna.We only drifted not anchored, right off the bat Kil hooks into something large!man I thought we are hot!nope and the leader line breaks!Second hit of the day came to me fish hit hard and took A run hook pulled!huh I thought.Third hit came to Kil and it was game on nice Bft decked!Fourth hit came to me!I missed the hookup again and kil missed A bump.all in all got about 5-6 opportunitys to cash in but today just wasnt our day!But did manage to throw the skunk off the boat.We where due for A trip like this you just cant slaughter them everytime!oh and another thing,Kil was testing out A jigging master rod that was off the hook strong and was the lightest rod I have ever held.Real nice! that is what is pictured in the photo on top of the tuna he landed!

Nice job guys !! I attended Kil's portion of the Canyon Runner seminar last April and learned a lot. I look forward to a full hour next year. (did you hear that Adam? )

By the way, what kind of reel is that next to the tuna on deck?

Pretty nice testing of that new rod... It must feel real good fighting a fish like that on one of those combos!
    Thanks for sharing!
