nice fish steve.......he can catch them makos
thanks a lot guys and a big thanks to chuck and mary!.....catching a fall mako has been a goal of mine for the last three years. caught one last year with capt koby aka bunker head onboard but it was a rat so we released it. finally got to kill one this year....last year another cape may boat "well done" caught a really nice 396lbs mako in the fall. the sharkin in the fall is just as good as the spring....but the weather is not as good, leaving very few days to fish and they move through the area much quicker often leaving just a couple of weeks to catch them.....but remember the old saying "that which goes up, must come down". i would like to see someone catch a mako over 300lbs. in cape may this fall!.....in fact the first person that does will recieve a free sea\\tow membership from sea\\tow cape may. the mako must be weighed in at "off the hook bait & tackle"!
