express vs bridge

which type of boat do you guys prefer?

boy, are you asking a good question, I had a 31 Cabo express, now I run a 32 regulator, and I will get in a couple of years a fly bridge boat.

express boat, kids were young, I wanted them close to me, running the boat from the lower station, you're near the action, but, you have to buy two of everything, one set for the lower station, one for the tower station., I did spend most of my time in the tower.

the regulator is my transition boat. my 32 will run circles around any other boat in its class, it is not the fastest, but over all proformance, the ride, dry, room, storage, ect. you can not beat it.

I've never fished on a true Express boat...so I can't render an opinion on them...

My bridge boat is awesome - 35 Bertram. You get a perfect view of the spread can spot fish out ahead from the bridge...

Plus, the salon is right at the cockpit so if you need to get out of the sun, you can go inside and sit on the recliners, catch a few z's, or have a sandwich...

Also, there's a ton of storage space for fishing equipment and tools...
