Funny
I was kinda noticing the opposite of all glowings... Hell, my last two were duds and I have a very colorful style of "epicing" even duds. A few wahoo snip offs and a couple dolphin for my little trip home wasn't much to write about but I did.
ALL reports are epic and important. The duds serve a greater purpose than the good ones so as to save the next guy the trouble of finding out for himself that a spot is shut down at that given time.
OC has glowin reports because there is a hell of an epic bite going on. In fact all the way down to the outerbanks. Sounds like the wahoo are starting to sniff around the southern end of north carolina and the tuna up off mass have been absolutely going off...
I see a lot more honesty in recent posts and thats good. Maybe thats just my read...
I have to agree with Deep on this one. I think the reason there are a lot of "epic" reports right now is that there is a heck of a bite going off (finally)
I know our last report was far short of epic (2-3 on yft and 2 small mahi) but it goes up every time...good or bad.
Deep is right, the bad reports are as good and informative as the slaughter ones. Its equally nice to know where fish are not as well as where they are.
The only place i have ever seen the word epic used more then a few times is by JT... and i must admit.. most of his shit is EPIC!!
The good, The bad, The ugly, like said above it is all informative..
I have been so busy i have not had a chance to fish or do a thing lately.. but i am not a report writer anyhow.
yes,,good and bad reports are great to read,,and if you are able to get out on the water DONT be afraid to put up a bad report post..
withing the last FEW months there have been some EPIC reports...which, IMHO..may have not been epic catching.
BUT
i loved reading ALL of them
