This a pic from the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, their third of the year. It only looks like to me to be 48-52"

that looks like a tasty little shark, but if it fits flat in a cooler i would let the poor little guy go, his mama probly misses him.
Come on guys it's just a matter of scale, that fish is 6' the guys are all 8'6" to 9' tall and the dock is decked with 2"x12"s, isn't that obvious
It does get quite old seeing these pics every week..if you have complaints do something about it. Call the Marine Fisheries..

I just whant to talk to a proffesional about hte rules/regs, whats the laws and how are they enforced? just trying to become a little wiser on the subject before i develop my opinion..................
Will you guys just drop it, i mean come on. If they are willing to rishtheir charter business over a small mako then thats all them. I hate coming on here and hearing about all this crap
Yes, I'm new here and at The Bass Barn so I'm sorry that I posted this picture and wanted to bring attention to this picture. Watching the reports coming out of Oregon Inlet FC and seeing sharks which "look" short, three posted pictures so far, and not hearing back from them on why gets me upset. I've seen post bashing commercial guys why not post bashing regular fishermen? Yes, I agree you have the right to what you want but if there's a record of it expect me or somebody else to say something about it if it doesn't look right.
So I found the other post under "Another Oregon Inlet Beauty". Sorry for the duplication. It was also funny to see that a Glacier Bay out of OI had caught and RELEASED 2 - 40" Makos on May 5th also. That other post was "OI on Cinco de Mayo"
