Does anybody have any info on Ghana....
im interested in booking a trip, and Ghana seems like the place i want to go.
I'm wondering what time of year is best, and who to book with.
thanks.

They handle the bookings for the HOOKER with Clay Hensley

I'm pretty sure Peter Wright runs some trips down there once a year. Its been a few years since I have been invited to come down, but he probably still does it.

Sit down Shut up And fish
Good question...if I were u I'd at least ask pbw his take...PBWfish@aol.com
I knew Russ and know Clay...probably can't go wrong there either, but Johan's name rings true as the man. See what PBW can add etc. who knows Barkey and Charles may have an opening!

Got fish
West Africa is best kept secret for Sportfishing. Ghana has had all the press but if you take a look at the record books you'll see what other destinations have to offer. First pic is Ghana in '05 (from their website) and second pic is Nigeria in May this year from loyal Melton customer and SFC member Brian (He's 6'4" 300+lb's to give you some scale on the pic)
We had one of the best Marlin seasons in memory here in Nigeria. Our (normally) prolific Tuna catch has been crap so far this year but the Marlin have made up for that.
