Do you guys trim your sea witches?

Another thing to note here, if you are buying them from a store try to get the ones that have been tied with thread and not rubberbanded. The rubber band will eventually dry rot. When this happens be sure and save the lead head. It is great way to get started with materials to learn to tie your own. When I bought mine I trimmed the hair down inside all the way off. The outside hair I trimmed to make it just shorter than the barb on the hook I was using. Remember most things out there for lures are made to catch fishermen not fish Simple and just a lil hair will do the trick. It is there to accent the bait not hide it.
