A few of us got together yesterday (Wed) for a little toggin. Bottom temps are falling and the larger Tog are becoming active. Caught several nice fish up to 15 pounds on green crabs...
Satisfied with the amount of fish in the kill box we changed tactics and relocated for flounder fattening up for winter. Unfortunately, so were the bluefish. We could not reel fast enough to prevent ten to twelve pound bluefish from attacking the flounder for lunch. We never got one flounder to the surface intact!

WOW.... I didnt realize that Bluefish were so aggressive up there! Like Barracuda down this way! We only see 3 pounders (every once in a while we will get some larger ones). I would be pissed if a big ol flattie got munched on by Bluefish!
Fat Taug Capt. One of my most favorite eating in all water next to the Wahoo and YFT. Nice Trip & Great Pics.
