Delaware OCMD Sharking

Does anyone think that its worh giving it a shot this weekend for Threashers off DE or OCMD, looks like there is some 64 degree water 15+ off the beach. Has anyone seen any signs of bait aroung the bass groungs orreef site 11?

Any opinions would be greatly appriciated...

Give it a shot.....there were at least 3 caught around cape may in the past few days by one of the gill netters.

We caught a 245lb Thresher 2 years ago on Father's Day Weekend.

This is prime time for thresher sharks no matter where they swim. Abundant bait is far more important than water temps for these fish. They are a good green water fish, too. And don't be surprised if a mako shows up. We cream the exact same species of both sharks out here in way less than 64 degrees.

Trolling and power chumming do the deed best of all.
