Decent place to eat in the Fort Lauderdale Area

Throwing together a trip last minute for the Terps vs. Canes football game this weekend. I need a decent spot for dinner on Saturday night in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Looking for a nice place with great food. Not too dressy though. Only packing shorts, fishing shirts and a couple of dress shirts.

About 5 minutes from the airport, right off I95 and attached to world wide sportsman (basspro shop) and the IGFA museem and hq.....great food, great bar and really easy. The bar room is better to eat in. Def the place for what you're looking for.

Believe it or not, go to Greek Isles and get the lamb chops. The best I have ever eaten.

its hard to beat 15th Street fisheries for unique view and atmosphere. its right on the intracoastel. the downstairs part of the restuarent is very casual. they feed the tarpon every night under the dock lights.

for a cheaper fried food experience Southport Raw bar on Cordova and 15th St is awesome too.

If you want the best Italian food Ft Lauderdale has to offer, head to Cafe Vico on Federal Highway just north of Sunrise Blvd. Great staff and incredible food.

    Latin Food

If you want Latin food (not Tex/Mex) check out El Tamarindo on State Road 84. Ate there at the Boat show a couple of years ago and it was excellent! Great Steak with rice and beans and the some of the best bread and dipping sauce I've ever had.
