Ok day 3 of pirates cove and sounds like its alot of the same in the way of fishing

So i spent my day with BUDDY DAVIS !! !

As a young man down on the docks i can remember hearing the words Buddy Davis! His boats are amazing and run like battle ships.Also had the pleasure today of riding on a 34 foot Buddy Davis center console. This boat I have to say handled great and cut the waves like a butter knife. We actually went full speed at a wave and I did the normal Hydra sport knee bend since im used to getting air and the boat just rode through it. Very impressive rig and ill tell you and show you more later in this post.
I also took a couple hundred pics of the boats leaving the inlet this morning so i will post them up as well.

Today, B&D Boatworks Inc. offers two very new and different Buddy Davis designed Sportfishermen boats, the 60' & 68' models. The new line of B&D Boatworks Inc. 60' and 68' Sportfishermen begin construction with lightweight epoxy plywood cold molded hull. The exterior and even the interior surfaces are all fiberglass and faired using epoxy finishes and Awlcraft 2000 topcoat. All the superstructure is all molded polyester fiberglass cored construction. Both model lines feature a full mezzanine style cockpit.

B & D Boatworks is currently building approximately four 60’ Mezzanine Cockpit Sportfisherman and four 68’ Mezzanine Cockpit Sportfisherman annually. The build time for 60’ Sportfisherman and a 68’ Models is approximately 14 – 18 months respectively.
B & D Boatworks is owned jointly by Buddy and Barbara Davis, no other partners. Dan Bottjen is CEO; son Wade Davis is President, Cathy Haynes, CFO. Buddy remains Chairman of the Board and Chief Designer. We have a workforce of 75 employees and are working in a new, modern facility of 55,000 sq. ft. B & D Boatworks is one of the premier custom Sportfisherman Builders in the United States.
Since 1973 Buddy, age 57, has delivered over 300 large Sportfisherman and has recently embarked on a new style and design of very sleek, solid and fast Sportfishing Machines.
All of the new B & D Sportfishermen are built on Fixed Price Contracts, unlike the Time and Material Construction Contracts (standard of all other Carolina Builders). We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver a quality product at a fair price with great resale value.
Our construction techniques feature an epoxy laminated okume cold molded hull and an all molded fiberglass structure. The finished B & D Boats are lighter than their production counterparts, equally strong and very exceptional Sea Boats.
We offer a full set of standard and optional equipment and a wide range of Engine and Generator Options. B&D has delivered 66-101, powered with 1550HP CAT C-30 and a top end speed of 37 KPH, 60-101 with 1650HP CAT C-32, with a top end speed of 41 KPH, 60-102 with 1550HP CAT C-30, 60-103 with 1500HP MTU 10V2000. 60-105 with 1500 HP MTU is completing now. 60-104 is 65% thru construction, the owners have not selected Engines and the boat is currently for sale with a mid Summer 2006 delivery.
68-102 - 68-105 are also under construction, powered with MTU 16V2000 2000 HP, CAT C-32, and C-32 Acert engines. 68-105 will also feature tunnel shallow (4') draft propulsion option.
