So right now we have Gambler and Ohana coming to the scale.

165-lbs or 84 inches. You get dinged if it's under 165, although the penalty is less severe if it tapes out at 84 or over. Personally, since they like to crow about their pro-release stance, I'd like to see them up the minimum size. Unfortunately, too many sponsors still like to see pictures of pretty girls and sweaty anglers standing around a hanging marlin. But they're learning ... slowly, but learning.

Actually it's a very very cool format and the minimum weight is right on target IMO.

As Stan said, the minimum weight is 165lbs. Any fish that falls under this weight will face a heavy penalty. All released fish in this tourney are awarded 100 points. All fish that are kept and weighed in and meet the minimum requirements are given 2 points per pound up to the 165 which equals 165x2= 330 points. Every pound over 165 gets an additional 3 points per pound.

Example being, a 180lb fish would be worth 375 points.
165x2=330 points
the additional 15 pounds x 3 = 45 points for a total of 375 points.

Waiting on these updates is killing me knowing a bunch of these guys/teams

I cant wait to hear team Gamblers weight as they always seem to pull a rabbit out of the hat! Those guys are uncanny at getting a good kicker fish.

I have unofficially heard that Team OHanas fish weighed 175lbs for a total of 360 pts
