Interesting to say the least - any thoughts as to why it works for the West Coast guys, are you building them differently. As far as I know - which I admit I dont know everything - there arent but so many ways to do make wind-ons.
I appreiciate everyones feedback on this. |

I use the spectra and have yet to have a problem. Don't make them myself, but use basil's topshots and wind-ons. He uses JB hollow spectra. It is available up to 1,000#.
Here is the loop connection http://www.bhptackle.com/doors/webpa...ge_ID=6&DID=18 You can always put the mono thru a section of dacron/spectra before tying the bimini, sorta like a chafe/cut guard on your mono loop. |
