As for the scariest thing I was watching the radar while we were anchored in the toms in pea soup fog and i'm watching a containership bearing down on us on the radar. I make radio contact asking his intentions and he says he sees us, gives us our lat and long numbers to confirm its us and says not to move he'll steer around us but it will be a close pass. He kept good radio contact while he came closer and closer. The scary part was when i'm watching the radar and see the yack that is us merge with his radar signature. I looked UP to see the deck lights.
The second scariest was hooking a 240 lb mako next to the boat and having to push him over the side as he tried to jump in the boat. Charter was a wee bit confused ("i thought we wanted to get the fish in the boat why'd you push him over the sde?") and then scared when i explained i wanted him in the boat but once i said so and he was shot in the head.
