Coolest thing.....
Hooked up to a giant mant ray this past summer in the Lindy. The thing was huge. It didn't fight at all just kind of swam to the boat. He surfaced and must have been 12- 15 feet across at least. Really a graceful animal.

Scariest.....

A Lightning storm, same trip. We beat up on the tuna fish that trip though.

Thats the boat. I remember it said something Roofing on the side. Sounded like a top fuel car when you got within 200 yards of him.

Coolest thing I saw this year was down near the Norfolk on the Squidnation.

It was glassy calm and just after getting our spread set I spotted some ripples and gently moving water. We turned towards it and watched the ripples pick up speed and attack the spread coming towards the port corner.

I think we ended up 2 for 3 on nice YF on that bite.

Coolest thing was about 15 years ago watching a 300 pound swordfish on the surface chase around a school of 30 pound yellowfins. It went on for a half hour and twice it came completly out of the water slashing at them.

Scariest thing was 2 years ago durring the Mid Atlantic 500,000. A SFC member that will remain anonymous crapped his pants in the cockpit when he pushed a fart out too hard. When he came out from changing his shorts he threw them over the side of the boat and they got caught on the left teaser leaving a nice skid mark down the side of it.

Scariest, a fire in the engine room of an old Pacemaker with gas Crusader engines.
