Deep C...pm sent...thanx.

The baits I use in there were developed by me really just for that spot though I use them elsewhere. The riggers get teardrops over select hoos we went through a bunch of designs and sizes before settling on the "original"... The Inside riggers are a masher that was originally a murray brothers lng that happens to work great in there as well as other places. We found that our cavitator model works better on the other side than a second masher. The cav is a little rounder than say pakula's concaves... Blue/ silver seems to be the hot color on that one.
Our left flat gets a rainbow colored small flat headed lure we call squasher over medium hoo. The right flat is a medium hoo rigged to swim kind of deep behind a boone bird. This has been our most productive spread through the years. We experiment from time to time with other things but that consistently seems to produce more for us in there than anything else we have tried...
High velocity and water don't mix... I did it for years. It only took one to hang a left, cork screw and basically double back to hit the rigger to get me to slow the rounds down...![]()
Please, let's keep this thread on topic and with irony out of it. Right now it's not a good time for BS. I ask you guys with respect to back off.
I deleted posts from this thread and I'm sorry, but please do what I say above. If you have issues with the thread starter, deal in private (politely). Thank you.
I stand behind that 100% guys ... you seem to let some slide and some things are right in your face ...hope you made people happy ...
deep c, you should consider posting on the forum where your name is compleat angler, i would think you might gain some bookings there. hope to see you there in march or april. alacrity
Alacrity,
Thaks for the input and the intel you have provided over at that site. We're most of the way booked out... This site is my home and these fine people here get first shot at this... I have taken many from here but had to leave a bunch on the dock last times we sold out... Not really looking to "book" right now... Trying to figure how many slots to make available.
Most years we run seven "legs" and fill out a month. This year we're already up to ten and I'm thinking about stretching it to fifteen if the interest is there... Don't want to leave people on the dock and don't want to have any dates not filled...
Again its not about money or selling. Its about making this oportunity available. The other site's people for a large part have their own boats and can come or go as they please. The people here don't have that option. Me, I want to fish there every chance I get. I'm on salary so my paycheck is the same whether I'm out picking the pocket or back at the dock keeping the pilings company. Stretching to the target fifteen legs gets me three moons to work and gives a few more people the chance to check it out them selves...

Got it... Thought I answered but must have missed the send button... Just resent...![]()
I can say from first hand experience that Paul and Colin are gracious hosts.
The cost is reasonable, and they give 100% effort.
