It was on 50lb, they are fishing for the record, they have a deal with Billy that if the fish looks nine they take it for practice. That and as we all know some of those fish we call nine go upwards of that figure. The fish they catch are wicked green. You have to make your mind up quick to take it or not. It takes lots of skill to catch big green animals and every one has to be dialed in. Every one they take on 50 is wild. Its no lay up. These fish are not tired as clearly shown in the photo. Taking fish is becoming a lots art, an art that needs to be preserved if you every want to land the tonner.

Billy Boyle is in the chair. The fish ate a purple and black hard head. Thats is one hell of a mean to team to have against a fish, it almost isnt fare to the fish. AWESOME TAKE!!!
Holy chit no kidding, with a team like that, that fish had no chance!

Awesome shots Carol! Awesome catch guys!!!

I hung out with Bo and Jason on the Mothership one night last year. Fun guys to say the least. Jason drove us back to the Top Shot in the inflatable that night, and then he had a steering problem and ended up in the drink while the boat was stuck in a hard turn. Biggles had to take the sport boat over and they had to free gaff the fuel line on the little boat to shut it down. Imagine it was a scary swim back to the mother ship- in the dark on the reef!!

I fished with marlin Parker back in 1991- caught my first blue as an angler with him. Stymie was his mate then.

No doubt about it with Bo, Jason and Marlin in the pit the fish are on borrowed time!!

    Very well said Kenton !!

People forget that these guys release 99% of what they catch and are turning big fish free on a regular basis in excellent condition.

Thanks for sharing the pictures Derek...
