First off im new to the site and love it! Deff. One of the best offshore fishing sites on the Web!

Just a thread i thought ide start b/c i often forget things when preparing for a day of fishing.

How many of you guys make a check list for your boats to gear up for a day of offshore fishing? If you all dont mind i would love to hear what you all put on your list. Maybe some things that we all dont think of when we are rigging up. It can be anything from tackle to safety gear to tie straps for this and that...anything

The usual stuff like reels, rods, lunch, knives,
-Lures\bait
-plenty of gaffs
-extra pair of cloths in case anything happens, right Greg

-rigs
-rubberbands
-flat line clips
-camera\video recorder
-a lot of money to tip the mate

(If your going on a charter)
-plenty of ice; you can never have to much ice
-cooler for the meat
-lighter\chebba

(fire in the cockpit

)
-hat\polorized glasses
-sunscreen SPF 35+
-leader gloves
-plenty of mono or fluro
-cutters
-music\CD's we always catch on some Pink Flyod
-charts
-visor\polorized glasses
-cooler for all the meat
-soy and wasabbi sauce
-good friends and last but not least PLENTY OF BEER!!!!

I'm sure people will have plenty more to add but its a start, dont forget the beer!!
