CHARTER BOAT APPRECIATION DAY
THATS RIGHT......TODAY AND TOMORROW IS CHARTER BOAT APPRECIATION DAY UP AND DOWN THE EASTERN SEABOARD...FLORIDA TO MAINE....MY GUESS IS THAT EVERY CREW IS LANDLOCKED FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS....HECK , I KNOW WE ARE....JUST LOST 3 TRIPS OURSELVES THIS WEEK TO DA WEATHER DECAY
I CHALLENGE ALL MEMBERS TO GO INTO THE CHARTER BOAT FORUM AND JUST SAY HELLO TO EACH CAPT AND MATE! LET THEM KNOW THEY THAT WE DO SURF A BIT IN THEIR WORLD........ I DON'T BLAME CHARTER BIZNESSES FOR PUTTING IN A PLUG OR TWO IN THE HIGHLY ACTIVE FORUMS....DU-HUH....THATS A NO BRAINER......BUT IN TURN.....WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO PUT A "PLUG " OR TWO IN THE INDIVIDUAL CHARTER BOAT FORUMS.......LET THEM KNOW WE ARE READING...........YOU DON'T HAVE TO WRITE AN ESSAY HERE YA KNOW!  PLEASE MAKE A ONE LINE POST OF ENCOURAGEMENT IN THEIR INDIVIDUAL FORUMS....AND ON THE OTHER HAND......THE CHARTER CREWS SHOULD ALSO KEEP FORUMS UPDATED  ...........PLEASE LET OUR CHARTER CREWS KNOW WE ON SFC ARE A WORLD CLASS TEAM DURING THE EARLY DAYS OF GROWING HERE ON SFC......YOU JUST MIGHT FIND THAT A CHARTER BOAT MAY SHARE SOME NEW TRICKS OF THE TRADE ON HERE SPORTFISHERMEN IF THEY KNEW YOU WERE WATCHING-READING

I know the pain
Well not the finacial paid you all are enduring. But I was suppose to be aboard the Run Off Saturday with clients. I am very disappointed as well as they are. Alot of people do not realize that a lost trip is a lost wage. As I mentioned to Capt Brian when he called this morning, most people do not see that side of the biz. I will post over there but Thanks to EVERYONE of u captains and mates out there. I appreciate EVERYTHING u do and all that u teach!!!

Guys-
I'm a little late chiming in on this thread, but I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to all of you "pros" who are in the sportfishing biz. It's a tough way to make a living, but on the other hand it's has it's great moments as well....creating memories that will last a life time... I tip my riggers to all of you!! I would be remiss if I didn't extend a special thanks to Marty, Brian and Billy of Extreme Measures Sportfishing.
