Friday, I had a half day charter with good friends and customers Edwin and Bruce. Edwin had his young grandsons, and was justing wanting them to catch something whether we could keep anything or not. We started about 3 miles from the inlet, and found not only beautiful seas, but plentiful big bass in the 14-18" range. We made a few drifts, and it slowed a little, so we kept moving. We ended the day 8 miles from the inlet, and probably caught in the neighborhood of 200 bass, with app. 60-80 that would have been keepers if it were open.
