We went to the meeting tonight and learned the rules of the event. Pretty neat how they do things out here. We video taped the meeting and will put online later in the week. One thing that is pretty wild is all boats must video releases. Now you must have the angler in the frame and the fish to count as a release so these guys may have to work harder to bring the fish closer to get the video shot to account for the release.
Here are some pics from tonight and tomorrow we are getting on the tournament boat to tape boats heading out and heck maybe we will go fishing

Video and not camera I am very tech and computer savy but I hate video cameras.
I have seen them have to photo thier releases with time stamps and turn them in at the end of each fish day but never video. Kind of cool though but certainly a pain in the rear
I have been involved with release tounaments using cameras, both disposable, and digital. They are a tough sell to the participants, and add another difficult dimension for the crews to deal with. Video cameras may be an improvement, or just another PITA. Please let us know how they are received, along with the results of course. Keep up the great coverage.
