First of all, I got from your interview excatly what I thought and suspected...OUTRIGHT CHEATING. Period. The one in your interview, ChumStain I guess, ADMITS to calling the short Mako "released" when it wasn't, kept on the boat from 9am till weigh-in, Cut, Stretched, admits it was measured inncorrectly, can calls in a false catch at the end of the day & uses the earlier fish as the one measured.
As for the unprofessional antics, I can explain that away as those that don't understand professionalism and what it stads for, it comes as no shock that they know no better. So the 11 1/2 minutes of "excuses" was a waste of tape IMO. The one sentence stating the issue with the mako that was caught earlier, falsly claimed that it was released, sat in the boat all day, cut, streched, lied about who, how & when it was caught...then accepting a false measurement and claiming it sums it up for me. These guys are the most pathetic group of cheaters, liars, blamers, I have ever witnessed. To claim themselves as "professionals" give everyone a blackeye. I sure hope they get their due...and I'm a little shocked at those that are casually sweeping this under the rug. You guys that know them, fish the same grounds, same tournaments and compete for the same customers should be outraged and be calling for their head. It doesn't say much for the profession of charter boats and crews for all of you to give them a pass on this.
