    capemay tuna tips needed

My wife would like to take the boat up to capemay for a vacation this summer. I would like to do a little fishin while we are there. I've spent most of my time fishin the chesapeake. Can anyone give me some tips as to the best month to go for tuna and what are some of the typical spots. I'm familiar with some of the spots off O.C. Maryland but not capemay. Thanks

The best months are Aug and Sept and most of the good spots out of Cape May are the same spots you would fish from OC, MD. The Hot Dog, Lumpy Bottom and Masseys Canyon usualy hold fish.

I would rather run all day to fish in "fishey" water for 1 hour, then to stay short and fish in "unfishey" water all day.
