we left wildwood at 2am to be at the 19 lump at day break.Got there at 4:45 to find around 30 boats on top, some spent the night with no action at all.Set up and started chunking,nothing untill 8:30 when all hell broke loose but not with fish. A nasty thunder storm ripped though with high wind around 40kts with lighting. felt bad for the centers console guys had to be hellish for them.Any how we stuck it out , when it passed at least half the fleet ran for the barn. No action untill 4:00pm when we hook into what felt like a small fish,turned out to be a 40 inch wahoo my first one. next bite we at 4:45 this fish,2 hour later turned out to be 64 inch bluefin.Good day still sore 2 man crew is tough. By the way both fish were on 40lb floro.
