NJ Cape May Fishing Report 8/20-8/21

Let me know how you did if you were fishing off of Cape May, NJ this weekend:

When:
Where:
Conditions:
What Time of Day:
What did you catch:

My Report:

When: Saturday (Sunday was kids day on the boat, crabbing and tubing)

Where: Northern Cape May Reef & East Lump

Conditions: Great........1-4 spaced nicely.......surfed the whole ride home.

What Time of Day: Bright and Early, 7am

What did you catch: AbSOLUTELY NOTHING made it in the boat. Stopped and the reef on my way out to the East Lump to rest my knees for a bit. Thirty seconds after the first drop hooked a nice size shark. Nothing else bit after that. Spent 2-3 hours trolling the East Lump with two knock downs but not hookups.........better luck next time I guess.

Flounder at the reef. Croakers at the point. Nice brown sharks outside the rips.
