CanyonGear Jet Heads - the first two prototypes

These are the first two out of the molds.

There is some very unique insert design, insert mold build, master and master insert cast mold work here by our partner Ocean City Lures. They did a phenominal job on the molding for us.

Our design their phenominal head work.

As always we try to keep you at SF.com up to speed on what we are doing..this is not the final lure for production just a quick look at what's coming and the end result of the technology to produce a true non-brass tube jet head that is truely a thru jet head.

The production heads will likely be tinted and pearled to mask the tubes, eye enlarded and moved forward..

    Interested..shoot us an email..

The next phase of the proto's will be a forward extention of the insert that will follow the angle cut nose of the lure and reduce the amount of the jet tube visibility. When we get there I will put up the pics.

I am very pleased with these jets as they have exceeded my expectations and do away with brass and aluminum tubing. A much cleaner effect and jetted thru the butt versus a nose jet which pretty much requires a fairly deep cupped face lure head.

Yes, I realize a jetted tube is contrary to the traditional "tube" lure and the action it creates by being a flat face angled head. My theory is let's see how it runs and what it does. I don't believe anyone makes a jetted tube head, but I could be wrong.
