60’ Ritchie Howell “Canyon Runner”/Team Simrad at Strictly Jersey Boat Show – Daily Sea Trials - Sign Up Now!!



There have been several exciting developments for the Ritchie Howell/Canyon Runner Team over the past couple months that continues to see Ritchie Howell Yachts and Canyon Runner growing beyond our wildest imaginations and we’d like to share our good fortune with you.

First, in what can only be described as the best testament to the superior craftsmanship, performance, structural integrity and luxury that is the 60' Ritchie Howell "Canyon Runner" there will be TWO (2) more brand new ones on the block.

Mr. Joe Miele of Manasquan, NJ, rode along and assisted the Canyon Runner Team over the last two years as a second captain. He has been on the 60' Ritchie Howell “Canyon Runner” from the day it was splashed and knows every little nook and cranny of the yacht. He was so impressed he had to have one for himself. Mr. Miele’s 60’ Ritchie Howell “Blue Runner” is well underway with the house, bridge and bow deck all in place. Delivery is expected early spring 2011. Second, just last week, we sold another 60’ Ritchie Howell to a gentleman from the Mid-Atlantic that only had to take a walk around the “Blue Runner” currently under construction to decide this was the perfect boat for him. We’ll have a lot more information on this build at a later time.

Third, and most importantly, the 60’ Ritchie Howell “Canyon Runner” had just been outfitting with a complete Simrad NSE package. We’ve been using this new package for the last month as we beat up on Bluefin tuna out of Oregon Inlet. All we can say is we’ve never been more impressed with an electronics package – ever!!! We are honored to be part of the Simrad Team.

During the show, up to three times a day, we will be taking the 60’ Ritchie Howell “Canyon Runner” out for sea trials with groups interested in seeing the Simrad NSE units in action and trying them out for themselves first.
