Canyon Runner Saturday Bluefin - As Many As you Want Anyway You Want!!!! One day still Open!!!

With Capt. Mark at our last Seminar at the Mohegan Sun Capt. Ritchie Howell himself, the legend, took our 60’ Ritchie Howell out on Saturday on an open boat trip and put a hurting on the Bluefin. Fishing a little further to the south they got into a red hot bite with acres and acres of Bluefin cruising by the boat and hook-ups coming fast and furiously.

From approximately 11am until they came home they had fish on jigs and popping equipment with a total of 40 bites and 30 solid hook-ups. Some of the best video of year was taken as our second Capt. (aka. Hook) was popping bluefins off the bow of our boat with one of the charters who is a NJ charter boat captain (Mike Copeman – “Renegade”). I don’t have the video in hand but basically it has Bluefin – 3 at a time – exploding on the lures.

They kept a 61” fish and released a total of 14 from 125 to 200 pounds.

The best thing about the trip is not only were the Bluefin further SOUTH than they had been – they were moving south all day – proving that this fishery is far from over.

Unfortunately for us it almost is – we are only fishing until the end of this week as we have the boat scheduled to be haul April 19. We only have one day left available and that is this Tuesday, April 13 and the weather looks absolutely great so if interested please call now at 732-272-4445 or email me at adam@canyonrunner.com

Oh yeah – the giants are still there too as a local boat caught a 99” 600+ pound fish yesterday.

Ok guys, look, this is it. I can’t tell you how sick it is to keep hearing guys say “I wish I could have been there”; “I wish I could go”; “I’d love to go but ….”. But what???? This is the fishing of a lifetime and if you can’t pull the trigger and take a day off from work to get in on an offer of a lifetime then you are just a wisher and not a fisher!!!

Quite simply the last two days were better than as good as it gets!!!! Today they had 40 more bites – that’s 80 bites in two days on fish in the 150-300 pound range. Most of today’s bites were on poppers and spinning equipment – and the fish – well the one we kept 71 inches and 200 pounds. One of the ones we released – GIANT NUMBER 7!!!!!!

We are booked up every day this week except Tuesday, on Tuesday we are down to only needing 2 guys to fill up the boat. It's only $300 per person if we get 6 guys and 5 guys if we get $360. We already have 4 so just 1 more guy and we’ll go!!! Let’s not forget – not only do you get to get in on simply unbelievable fishing – you get to do it on a 60’ Ritchie Howell and do it in luxury.

By the way, today’s giant was our smallest but it was caught on a spinning reel!!!!

The long and short of it is – if you don’t take advantage of this opportunity you have no right to ever feel sorry for yourself for missing out on a great bite.

Call me at 732-272-4445 – it’s first come first serve.

Great point!!! Guys we are not the only boat beating the heck out of these fish. Oregon Inlet and Pirate's Cove specifically has some of the best tuna fishermen in the WORLD. Just because we are filled up and coming out of the water on April 19 doesn't mean its over. There are plenty of boats at www.fishpiratescove.com that will give you the trip of the lifetime and on top of that they are some of the nicest people in the world. Give them a look.
